Jess Logan (vocals, piano) is a completely original artist and the most legitimate soulful singer you're going to find, period. She comes from Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania having started her performance career in Musical Theatre until high school when she started playing with different bands at school and at her church. Jess moved to New York City in 2008 to attend PACE University and in early 2009 would help form what would become Walking Upright. Bryan and Jess would get married in 2012 and start a family. The songwriting has never stopped though.

Jess is a breast cancer survivor and the strongest mother you’ll ever meet. She was also a nurse on the frontlines during the pandemic. And following the death of her husband Bryan, she has once again has shown her resilience. Through her grief, she continues to channel her energy into songs that resonate with everyone. 

She has been picking up the pieces each day for her kids while also honoring Bryan’s memory through this music.
