In 2008, Bryan and Patrick Logan began to seriously look for great musicians to form a band. What they found was much bigger. They found another family through “Walking Upright”. They enjoyed every minute of it. But eventually life moved on. Some of the members got married. Some had kids. But the songwriting would continue. They would continue to send song ideas back and forth over the years. Much of it would go unheard but the songs forming behind the scenes would tell the story of their lives. From simple love songs, to the fears that come with becoming new parents, to Jess surviving cancer, and now into the loss of our brother.
On July 22, 2020, Bryan Logan passed away due to an epileptic seizure. He will be forever missed, but his words and music will go on. His passing has reinvigorated the band to ensure this music is heard. While the pain is present every day and an obvious glaring hole exists within the band, they are moving forward - for him.
The first song that Patrick and Bryan would write together was called “Twelve Year”. It would become the first song off their first album “Patchwork”. Bryan would pass away 12 years later.
